Where can I find the BierCycle?
Where do tours begin? Tours depart from the east side of Water Street just north of Myrtle Street near the pedestrian walkway and restrooms on the north side of town.
How does this thing work?
Is there an engine on the BierCycle? Yes- There is a small engine which we use when going to and from the garage with no passengers as well as to help some smaller groups get through town.
Do we really have to pedal? Yes- Although there is a motor we rarely use it throughout a tour unless needed. The BierCycle is mainly powered by pedaling. If you stop pedaling the bike will stop.

Alcohol
Can we bring alcohol on the BierCycle? Yes- Beer, wine, spritzers and malted beverages are permitted on the BierCycle. No hard liquor, liqueurs or jello shots are allowed. It is the riders’ responsibility to supply the alcohol if they wish to have it on the BierCycle. Cans and plastic containers are allowed on the BierCycle. No glass containers are allowed. All persons consuming alcohol on the BierCycle must be 21 years of age or older. All open alcohol containers must stay on the BierCycle and cannot be taken off at the end of the tour.
Please drink responsibly. Your tour guide has the right to end any tour with riders who show signs of intoxication.

Cancellations
The BierCycle will run rain or shine and all rider should dress appropriately. Refunds for cancellations vary depending on when the cancellation is made. Please refer to the chart below for more information.

*What if the weather is not cooperating? Riders are responsible for dressing for the weather; rain or shine the BierCycle will be running. BierCycle Adventures reserves the right to cancel a tour due to dangerous weather. Dangerous weather conditions are determined by the driver. The driver will try to notify the renter of dangerous weather conditions 3 hours prior to the start time.
**Gift Certificates: Cancellation Gift Certificates will be mailed to the renter and are valid for 1 year after the originally scheduled date.
Capacity
How many people can ride on the BierCycle? The BierCycle carries a maximum of 13 people, plus the driver and server. There are 10 pedaling seats and a bench on the back which fits up to 3 non-pedalers. We suggest to have at least 8 to be able to pedal smoothly.
Larger groups can be accommodated by taking multiple tours. Generally larger parties have part of the group on the BierCycle while the others have food and drinks at a local bar or restaurant.

Food and Drinks
Can the BierCycle provide food and beverages? No- Riders may bring snacks easy to pass as pedaling or beverages they wish. A server is provided for each tour to help distribute food and drinks.
Can we bring our own cooler on the BierCycle? Yes- We have room for 1-2 coolers on board.

Length
How long is a BierCycle tour? Public historic tours are 35 minutes long. Private tours are 1 hour long. Your private tour length can be discussed upon scheduling.
Music
Is there music on the BierCycle? We do have a CD, Bluetooth and MP3 hookup on the bike. We have some music on the BierCycle which we can provide for you. Riders are also welcome to bring their own family friendly CDs and/or MP3 players.

Private Tour Reservations require the full payment upon making the reservation over the phone. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is included in all private tour reservations as part of the hourly rates listed above. Release Waivers
Why do we need to sign a waiver? The release waiver was formed for your protection and ours. It states our responsibilities as a service provider and rider responsibilities and guidelines. All riders are required to sign a waiver before boarding the BierCycle. A parent/guardian signature is required for any rider or passenger under the age of 16.
Restrictions
Are there height and weight restrictions on the BierCycle? Pedalers must be 5’ or taller in height and under 300 lbs in weight. Riders outside of these height and weight restrictions are welcome to ride on the bench seat in the back.
Are there age restrictions? There are no age restrictions for private or public tours. Any rider or passenger under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The parent/guardian will sign a waiver for the under age 16 individual, unless special permission is granted by the parent/guardian either by phone or in person. Written notes without prior contact will NOT be considered permission granted.

Can I make my own route for a Private Tour? We have a tour route approved by the city.

Safety
How safe is the BierCycle? We provide a driver and server for each BierCycle tour. Our drivers are well-trained on guiding your group safely down the streets of downtown Stillwater. The BierCycle is also equipped with a headlight, turn signals, brakes and handrails for pedalers. We also provide helmets for kids ages 11 and under and others who wish to wear a helmet. Our servers are there to hand out drinks and food so riders can stay safely in their seats throughout the tour.

Smoking
Are we allowed to smoke on the bike? There is no smoking or vaping allowed on the BierCycle. However, we do have rest stops and you are welcome to hop off and have a cigarette or vape at those times.
Speed
How fast does the BierCycle go? About 3-5 miles per hour.
Tipping
Is tipping customary? Tipping is not expected but very much appreciated. If you wish to tip, the industry standard is the same as tipping at restaurants, 15%-20%.
